Embassy Studio in Chicago helps everyone experiencing medically-related hair loss as a result of various presentations of Alopecia, as well as  chemotherapy,  radiation treatments, self-induced hair loss, thyroid, or other medical disorders and treatments.

When you come to Embassy Studio, the only people who will know about your hair loss are the people you specifically choose to tell.

At Embassy Studio, we take great care to recreate the look you love, or to create a fresh new look just for you, because we know that when you look good, you feel better.

CHEMOTHERAPY

Chemotherapy, and other cancer treatments such as radiation therapy, works because they kill rapidly dividing cells.  Because hair grows relatively fast, these cells are attacked and the hair growth is temporarily stopped.

The hair loss brings a loss of privacy and self-image that many find harder to deal with than the actual treatment. For this situation, we recommend that you choose a wig from a selection of full cap wigs.

TRICHOTILLOMANIA

Lot
s of people have nervous habits, but people who pull out their hair compulsively can suffer overwhelming emotional and even physical impact.  Psychiatrists estimate that four million Americans suffer from a condition known as trichotillomania (trick-o-till-o-main-ee-a). If you are considering wigs or a custom hair replacement system, the highly experienced professionals at Embassy Studio in Chicago will help you find the best solution for your specific needs and lifestyle.

HUMAN HAIR WIGS

For the very ultimate in comfort and style there is nothing like a high-quality human hair wig.

Contrary to popular belief, not all human hair wigs are hard to maintain. In fact, because you can use hot blowers, rollers and curling (straightening) irons, human hair wigs offer many more styling options than wigs made of synthetic materials.

Human hair wigs are cut and customized to the look that you want.

EUROPEAN HUMAN HAIR WIGS

In making wigs there are different types of hair used for various reasons. What makes Embassy Studio stand out so much is the virgin hair from Europe that we use in our top of the line wigs and hair systems.

Most human hair that is used in hair replacements is processed hair. It is then stripped of its cuticle so it feels finer, then it is bleached and dyed.

At Embassy Studio, our human hair wigs are made of virgin, or unprocessed hair, from European hair merchants that buy it from women in eastern Europe.  It is washed, blended and sorted to our specific needs.  We then make beautiful wigs and hair replacements from it.

The result of all this is a great reputation for our wigs throughout the country.

SYNTHETIC WIGS

The synthetic hair that we choose is of a higher quality that you would see in a department store, online wig store, or catalogue.

We make our wigs to a 'medical quality' standard, leaving others to provide what are referred to as 'fashion wigs.'

Medical quality wigs, especially made with synthetic hair, are a huge improvement over machine made fashion wigs. The cap of our wigs, for example, fits the shape of a head that has little or no hair, whereas fashion wigs are typically mass manufactured in a "one size fits all" manner, and are designed to be worn over existing hair.  The construction of our wigs are designed to not irritate a sensitive scalp.
